MEET DENISE D’ANGELO
Born and raised in Grove City, Denise D’Angelo has dedicated much of her life in our community chasing her passion- helping others.
Denise is a 2001 graduate of Grove City High School, and attended Monterey Elementary and Brookpark Middle School in the South Western City School District. Denise stayed active in her local and extended community throughout, working for Habitat for Humanity, babysitting for family and friends, and volunteering at Mount Carmel Hospital. Currently, she owns and operates a Massage Therapy practice since 2005, with an office in Grove City for more than 16 years.
Now a proud mother to three amazing boys in, Denise selflessly dedicates her time to supporting and safeguarding the educational experience of our youth by serving on the South Western City School Board, elected in 2023. Since starting term on the school board, Denise has helped implement no cell phones during the school day, brought therapy dogs into the schools, helped hire a new superintendent (first time in over 17 years) to the district,
Denise enjoys volunteering with her son’s schools, and receiving the Helping Hands PTA
Award in 2021. Denise was a volunteer coach with Parks and Rec basketball, GCKA soccer, and The Naz future stars basketball program for 10 years. Denise also lends a helping hand Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and School.
Denise wants to ensure that everyone in the community is given an equal opportunity to live in a place that supports them. By listening to what people in the community desire, she will help implement legislation to make that happen. Creating safer school environments, talk about property taxes and increasing transparency through House District 10 will be her top priorities.
