MEET DENISE D’ANGELO
Born and raised right here in Grove City, Denise D’Angelo has spent her entire life chasing one true passion: showing up for the people in her community.
Denise’s roots in Grove City run deep. She attended Monterey Elementary and Brookpark Middle School, and is a proud 2001 graduate of Grove City High School. Whether she was volunteering at Mount Carmel Hospital, babysitting for neighbors, or launching her own local massage therapy practice back in 2005; which she has successfully operated right here in Grove City for over 17 years, Denise has always been woven into the fabric of our daily lives.
Today, as a proud mom raising three amazing boys in the same community that raised her, Denise’s commitment to our youth is personal. When she was elected to the South Western City School Board in 2023, she didn’t just fill a seat, she got straight to work. Denise has already delivered real results for our families, helping to implement a distraction-free "no cell phones" policy during the school day, bringing therapy dogs into our buildings to support student wellness, assisting in the search to hire our district's first new superintendent in over 17 years, and championing true transparency.
Her dedication doesn't stop at the school board doors. For over a decade, you’ve probably seen Denise coaching youth sports for Parks and Rec basketball, GCKA soccer, and The Naz Future Stars. She’s a constant helping hand at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and School.
Denise isn't a career politician looking for a title; she is a mother, a small business owner, and a neighbor who listens. She has earned the trust of this community by delivering on her promises, and she is ready to bring that exact same work ethic to the statehouse. When you cast your vote for Denise, you are choosing someone who has already proven she will protect our kids, advocate for fair property taxes, and fight for the transparency and equal opportunities every family in Ohio deserves.
